The USS Babylon is a Black Ops ship that is tasked with "clean up" of Manticore missions that leave a mess behind. The Babylon is an Akira-class vessel commanded by Adrian Wolfe.
They were first seen on SD 50005.08, when they were called in to "santize" Outpost 918, following a terrible epidemic left by the followers of Koresh Branch.
On SD 50302.10, they came to Citadel 18, to deal with Colonel Kurtz and the advanced weapons he was testing there after Manticore departed.
The Babylon came to Manticore's aid on SD 50309.15 as the Manticore was deep in romulan space, surrounded by six warbirds. With Babylon's aid, the warbirds were destroyed and the Federation ships escaped back into friendly territory.
On SD 50602.13, the Manticore arrived at Nede Prime on a mission of "social deterrence." The scientist of Nede Prime were on the verge of warp flight and Manticore was ordered to disrupt their plans and destroy their work, to keep them pre-warp. The equipment and labs were destroyed, but not before proof was obtained that showed Federation equipment was being used there. Just as the mission finished, the Babylon appeared, from the far side of the planet and attacked the Manticore on falsified orders by Consul General Jaffe. She wanted proof of her complicity in breaching the Prime Directive at Nede Prime to be destroyed and was willing to kill all on Manticore to get it. Luckily, Sovak and Jami Farrington were able to get Captain Wolfe, of the Babylon, to listen to their evidence.
On SD 50604.24, the Manticore and Babylon headed back to Sector 001 to turn over their evidence against Jaffe. In order to get close enough, the Manticore crew all moved to the Dorsal Module and the Babylon fired on Manticore, including a direct hit to the Bridge, so that it looked to be a destroyed ship.
On SD 50812.01, the Manticore flew through a wormhole from the Andromeda galaxy back in the standard galaxy. After flying out of control and smashing into a Sovereign-class ship back at a blockade, the blockade ships surrounded Manticore. Adrian Wolfe and the Babylon transported Atragon-9 from Manticore for "questioning" that left him with partial brain damage.
On SD 51001.18, Adrian Wolfe was removed from command of the Babylon and his second in command, Marina Palmer was promoted to Captain and given command of the ship.

On SD 51002.01, the Special Operations Wing met together at Maturin Station for the first time since Atragon-9 was put in charge of the Wing by Consul General Yendis. The Wing consists of the Babylon, USS Pensacola, the USS Carthage and the Manticore.
